Mark Bardsley: 1968 Camaro
Mark started drag racing in 1995. He sold his street driven Camaro in 2002 to rugby legend Jonah Lomu to finance a race only version and has not looked back since. In 2006/07 and 2010/11 Mark won both the Nationals and the NZDRA Top Doorslammer Series. He also won the Nationals in 2014.
In 2003 Mark became the first recipient of the NZDRA Award of Merit, for his contribution to drag racing in New Zealand.
