Nigel started his Top Doorslammer career driving a 1968 Camaro. For the 2016/17 season, he purchased a 2006 BF Ford Falcon from Australia and is now the fastest Top Doorslammer driver in New Zealand.
Nigel won Top Doorslammer at the 2020 New Zealand Nationals. He was also the NZDRA Top Doorslammer champion in 2015 and the New Zealand Top Doorslammer champion in 2020.
