Parry Hunt: 1969 Camaro RS
Parry Hunt spent 18 months designing and fabricating his Top Doorslammer 69 Camaro RS, debuting the Camaro in November 2009. He was soon into the sixes and had some success, winning Top Doorslammer at the Summer Nationals run at Taupo in January 2010. Parry had a massive accident in February 2010, at Masterton. He hopes to reappear later this season after a lengthy recuperation and rebuild.
Parry was previously crew chief for Graham Alexander's Hellraiser Drag Racing Team and was part of the crew on Tim Watkin's funny car team that toured Australia in 2007. Parry previously raced a T/S SB Chev Torana and has crewed for and tuned many other top performing cars in the sport.
